Totals for the 2011 Bethlehem CROP Walk haven’t been tabulated as of yet.

The total from the 2010 Bethlehem CROP Walk churches= $ 23,685. St. Andrew’s had a strong showing with 44 walkers participating who managed to raise $ 4,422 last year.

In 2009's CROP Walk $ 23,172 was raised by all churches, with $5,795 distributed locally to Victory House, New Bethany, West Bethlehem Food Bank, Trinity Soup Kitchen, Salvation Army, Northeast Ministries, New Jerusalem Food Pantry (Hellertown) and the Nazareth Area Food Bank. Plus: $ 285 of that local amount went to the Pennsylvania Ave. Interfaith Food Pantry.



Though one quarter of the CROP Walk proceeds benefit local hunger efforts, the rest of the money is used to aid refugees, victims of natural disasters,and to fight hunger worldwide. In 2012, we invite new participants as well as welcome our former walkers.

Lunch for the walkers will be served at St. Andrew’s at noon. Registration begins at 1:00 PM under the Hill to Hill Bridge on Spring Street. 



The 5.6 mile Walk begins at 1:30 PM. The Bethlehem, Nazareth and Hellertown food pantries and soup kitchens (including the Pennsylvania Avenue Interfaith Food Pantry) benefit from the proceeds of the Bethlehem CROP Walk. 



There is a shorter route for dog-walkers, parents with children, and older folk. We walk rain or shine.
