St. Andrew's Christmas Concert With Dave and Margie

Dave and Margie performed at our December Christmas Concert with the St. Andrew's choir.  Also featured were the multiple musical talents of our own Donna Lang and Evelyn Michaels. 

 

This concert was held to raise awareness and supplies for the Pennsylvania Ave. Interfaith Food Pantry.

On May 20th, 2010 at 7:30 PM, our former Priest-In-Charge (for three years) the Rev. T. Scott Allen, officially became St. Andrew's (Full-Time) Rector during a ceremony at the church.

With over 160 guests present, the Thursday night event had it all: faith, friendship, pageantry, and many blessings - along with some celebrating downstairs in Fellowship Hall after the service.

TROXELL STREET 2010

St. Andrew's annual Troxell Street Fundraiser is held on the Saturday before Mother's Day in conjunction with a giant multi-street neighborhood yard sale.

 

We sell gift items, baked goods, plus gently used books, DVDs, CDs, and VHR tapes. There is also an opportunity to win one of multiple gift baskets. However, the "star" of our parish's Troxell Street attractions may be the food.

 

This year we had the usual hot dogs, barbeque, and french fries but offered several new church-made items:  pulled pork sandwiches and the "Egg McAndrew": a large scrambled egg-ham-cheese breakfast sandwich on a kaiser roll (I personally endorse both delicious items).
